The golfer is taught how to compete physically and mentally.  Focus is on building a sound, repeatable swing, ball flight shape, course management and dealing with conditions.

Intermediate - Gold Book 1
(Must have completed Blue Book)
This Clinic builds on the basic fundamentals but adds  new and more advanced swing thoughts. The pitching and sand shot elements are added. All skill and playing tests are more difficult. Scoring test in the Golf Simulators is now nine holes.

PGA Apprentice, Jake Kruegel

Jake was most recently a teaching professional at Gleneagles Golf Club and brings his knowledge and expertise to the Golf Dome, beginning in Fall of 2015.  Jake is currently a registered PGA Apprentice and available for both adult and junior private lessons.


$60 for 45 minute private lesson or 5 lesson package for $250

Advanced - Red Book 2

​​​JUNIOR PROGRAMS

The Golf Dome junior instructional program is now utilizing the PERSONAL TEE GOLF LEARNING PROGRAM developed by U.S. Kids Golf


This unique program is designed for use by golf professionals to provide balanced instruction and positive incentives to encourage young golfers to reach their full potential.  The Personal Tee Program has three different learning levels, beginning with the Blue Book. Blue Book provides instruction in the basic elements of the game. Each element has a form section followed by a skill test. As the golfer successfully completes each skill test they are rewarded with a personal tee pin. Once all the elements in the Blue Book are completed, the golfer moves to the Gold tee level, then Red.

ADULT PROGRAMS

5 sessions available ~ All clinics meet once a week for 6 weeks starting the week of:

Fall 1 - Sept. 12th
Fall 2 - October 24th (no classes week of November 21st)
Winter 1 - January 9th
Winter 2 -  February 20th
Spring 1 - April 3rd


Tiger Cubs (ages 5-7)
A great way to start your future "Tigers".  An introduction to the basic fundamentals with an emphasis on hand-eye coordination and having fun! Classes are 1/2 hour in length.

Jr. Learn to Play Golf - Blue Book 1 (ages 8-12)
Introduction to grip, stance, weight shift, and full swing. Also covered is the short game, chipping and putting plus rules & etiquette. Half of the form elements and skill tests of the Blue Book will be covered.

Tiger 2's (ages 5-7)
(Must have gone thru Tiger Cub program)
A review of the fundamentals covered in the Cub program with new more challenging games and drills to keep your Tiger progressing.  Classes are 1/2 hour in length.

Parent/Child
A fun and non-intimidating way for the parent and child to spend some quality time together while learning an activity for a lifetime.  Introduction to the golf swing as well as chipping and putting are covered.  Children must be 8 yrs or older.

Learn to Play Golf Blue - Book 2 (ages 8-12)
A  combination of  the basic fundamentals covered in Blue Book 1 with more individual problem solving. The second half of the Blue Book will be covered including the playing element. Students will use the Golf Simulators to play three holes on a par 3 course for their on course playing test.

Covers the first half of the Blue Book for ages 13 & up

This level builds on the Gold book and adds new skills including: breaking putts, alternative grip options and advanced pitching.  Skill tests require greater length and accuracy.  The scoring test in the simulator will be 9 holes on a regular course.

Director of Golf, TJ Tabor

TJ Tabor picked up a club at age seven. He played for the Solon high school golf team lettering 4 years. In college he played for the University of Mount Union where his team made it to states two years in a row. TJ graduated with a degree in sports management and is currently the golf coach for the Kenston high school golf team.  TJ is available for

both adult and junior private lessons.
