Meet the Golf Pros

 

Jim Chapman

     Jim was born in Ayrshire, Scotland and became a golf professional at the age of 15. He came to America in 1961. Jim was the head professional at Chagrin Valley Country Club for 30 years and is now the Director of Golf at The Golf Dome. He has been a PGA member for almost 40 years.

Mike McCon

     Mike has been an avid baseball player since he was 7 years old. His hard work and talent earned him the starting shortstop position and a .340 batting average for the '93 High School District Champion Crestwood Red Devils. His outstanding career continued at Hiram College where he started at second base and batted number three for the Terriers. Mike brings not only his baseball talents but also a love for the game and a terrific desire to teach our young players. Mike is a golf and baseball instructor.

Mike played high school golf at Crestwood in Mantua, Ohio where he was team captain. He went on to play golf for Hiram College where he was a solid player for 3 years. Mike not only has a passion for the game of golf but also has a terrific desire and ability to teach our younger players. Currently Mike is the Golf Director of our Junior Golf Program at the Golf Dome. Mike is also a baseball instructor.

Jane Eigner Mintz

     Jane Eigner Mintz is a class A LPGA member who teaches and plays professionally. Jane, over the last 10 years, has devoted herself to the instruction and care of individuals of all skill levels who want to play golf. She is an impassioned emissary of the game she loves. Whether working one-on-one with a student, or making a presentation to a room filled with executives, she's warm, personal and candid. Her communication style and sense of humor leave her audiences feeling energized, enlightened and connected to a purpose.
